Holistic Consulting Group was founded to serve as catalysts for healing ourselves, our community, and our planet. Holistic Consulting Technologies extends that mission into AI strategy, software development, and digital transformation for purpose-driven organizations.
We serve the underserved middle market: businesses with 1-50 employees and early-stage startups who need hands-on implementation from experienced operators — not delegated to junior consultants or outsourced overseas.

Leadership
Chris Short
Technical leader and operator with 12+ years of enterprise program management and a track record of delivering large-scale technology initiatives with near-zero client downtime. Chris brings experience across enterprise cloud infrastructure, blockchain, security, and AI-powered software development to every engagement.
At Pocket Network/Grove, Chris served as Head of Delivery for a decentralized blockchain infrastructure platform supporting 30+ blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Polygon — coordinating protocol, backend, and frontend teams across MEV support, validator automation, and network economics.
During 8 years at Beeline, Chris rose from Technical Project Manager to Senior Technical Program Manager, leading a 36-month multi-million dollar hybrid cloud build (OCI + Azure), M&A technical integrations with zero client disruption, a global MFA and security suite rollout, 250+ production SQL database upgrades with zero downtime, and a data center consolidation saving $1.2M annually. He founded the company's first PMO and led the organization-wide Agile transformation using the Spotify model.
Today at Holistic Consulting Technologies, Chris leads full-stack custom software development using Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, and Supabase — from rapid prototypes to production applications. He provides hands-on AI training workshops from beginner to advanced and manages the development of platforms including BranchBase (AI-enhanced project-based learning) and HomeBase (homeschool learning platform for NC families).

Taylor Ketcham Short, MA
Taylor is the CEO and Founder of The Holistic Consulting Group and creator of the Vision to Matter framework — a 9-phase guided journey that helps purpose-driven entrepreneurs transform ambitious visions into aligned, thriving businesses. A former Division I lacrosse athlete at Davidson College, she brings a unique blend of competitive discipline, strategy, and wellness to business growth and leadership development.
Her academic work at Wake Forest University (MA, Disability Studies & Human Rights) grounds her coaching in analytical rigor, inclusive storytelling, and a deep commitment to equity. Her approach is inspired by models like Woodson Branch Nature School, where she served as Fundraising & Marketing Manager — proving that high performance and well-being are not opposites but partners.
For entrepreneurs who have a powerful vision but lack the clarity, alignment, or systems to scale it, Taylor's Vision to Matter method bridges the gap. She helps business owners turn scattered ideas into cohesive brands, streamlined operations, and sustainable revenue — without overwhelm or wasted energy.
